My name is Adelle and I run the blog www.wherethestyledthingsare.com a fashion, health and lifestyle blog residing in Perth. I pride myself on swapping not stopping, making a meal or treat but replacing all the bad ingredients with good so it's a guilt free dish! We all have flaws and nobody is perfect BUT I lost 12 kgs just from doing this so it works and I am proud of that, I am currently exploring my own recipe's and rediscovering old ones.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cashews
  • 1/2 cup dates
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 3 Tbsp Agave
  • 2 Tbsp Coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds

Method

  1. Place cashews and oil into "The Boss" and plenty for 2 minutes until a thick peanut butter consistency (Speed: Mix then slowly bring up to blend)
  2. Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until a dough forms (Speed: Blend)
  3. Roll into balls, then roll in chia seeds
  4. Refrigerate for 2 hours and enjoy!

What does Agave mean is it syrup or solid?

Hi Jen, Agave is a natural sweetener derived from a cactus. It is a liquid and is available from health food stores or in the health food section of some supermarkets.
