  • 100ml vegetable oil
  • 2 x 60g eggs
  • 500g gluten free flour
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Combine water, oil and eggs in a large bowl, fold through the flour and salt. Turn out onto a lightly floured bench and knead lightly or until mixture just comes together and a dough ball forms.

  3. Divide dough as required.
  4. Freeze: 8 weeks, double wrapped in plastic wrap.

There is no yeast listed in the ingredients for this recipe. How will it rise?

Hi Jenny, This gluten-free pizza dough doesn't contain yeast. You should always rest the dough as stated on the recipe before rolling. The gluten free base is usually thin and crispy when cooking and it won't rise like the other regular doughs.

Can you tell me the cooking process once it is rolled. Do I cook it first then add topping and re cook it or just use the base straight from rolling it and put topping on and then cook it? How long will it take to cook in a conveyor a pizza oven? Thanks for your help:)

Hi Mary-Jane, this recipe is cooked like a normal raw pizza dough where the toppings are placed onto the raw dough and baked. We are unable to give you cooking times for a conveyor pizza oven but in the Breville Crispy Crust Pizza Oven or a normal hot oven the cooking time is about 5-6 minutes. Hope this helps.
